The UCLA Retirees’ Association (UCLARA) was organized in 1981 to serve staff retirees.

The purpose of this organization is to:

  • Promote the interests and welfare of UCLA staff retirees.
  • Facilitate retirees' support of UCLA.
  • Assist members in understanding the UCLA benefits available to them and to represent the views and concerns of retirees to University administration.
  • Foster the enjoyment of new, continued and renewed friendships among members.
  • Provide a connection to campus life for retirees through participation in educational programs, social events and volunteer activities.

 

Mission

The Retirees’ Association exists to serve staff retirees in their efforts to successfully enter and navigate the world of retirement.
